Flasheye enters next phase with Gustav Nordlund appointed new CEO

Since the founding in 2019, Flasheye has built pioneering software solutions that enable true automation across diverse industries—earning extensive recognition for our innovation. Now, we’re entering a new chapter with focus on expansion. To lead the journey ahead, Gustav Nordlund has been appointed as new CEO. He succeeds Ulf Lindström, who, after many successful years as CEO, will remain within the company in a new role as Business Developer.
Gustav Nordlund brings extensive experience and deep expertise in industrial digitalization to his new role. He has over 20 years of experience leading complex digital transformation projects and business-driven initiatives in the industrial and technology sectors, most recently as Head of IT at mining company Kaunis Iron. His background includes key leadership roles at global companies such as SSAB and Kaunis Iron, where he successfully combined strategic leadership with technical expertise and strong operational focus. His international experience from Asia and Europe includes overseeing major system implementations and driving digital transformations from strategy to execution.
I am truly honoured to take on the role as CEO of Flasheye. The company holds a unique position with its lidar-based solution, and I look forward to building on the solid foundation already in place together with a highly skilled team. I am passionate about unlocking the full potential of technology – always with a clear business focus. With my background leading mission-critical projects in both production and safety environments, I hope to bring strong direction, innovation pace, and hands-on leadership to Flasheye.
